It’s not funny watching TV without a licence. So, as part of the students It’s Not Funny campaign for BBC TV Licensing, we created a viral generating UGC website to get students to spead the message for us. We invited them to upload their own ‘unfunny’ clips, and add an introduction from a famous comedian to create their own virals. The uni who’s virals got most votes won an amazing comedy gig starring Bill Bailey, Simon Amstell, Marcus Brigstock and Andrew Maxwell.

The site featured unfunny banners students could click on to buy their licenses.
